Snow Peak was found in 1958 by Yukio Yamai in Niigata Prefecture of Japan. Yukio sought to offer more climbing equipment after being dissatisfied with the gears that were available then. Over the years, Snow Peak has evolved and expanded its products to include car camping, outdoor apparel, and a wide selection of camping gear. In 1999, Snow Peak began its footprint in the USA and continued to broaden its national mission of creating a profound camping experience, hospitality, and connections with the vibrations of nature. Their mission is to create an innovative way of connecting with individual life values, inspired by nature.
